Death of Joseph Norquay in Russell district

Joseph Norquay Sr. a longtime Russell district figure, cousin of the late Hon John Morquay, was found drowned in a slough near Boult road about four miles from Russell. British cruisers seize 225 German ships since war began

The London Times reports an official list showing British cruisers have captured 225 German ships worldwide since the war started. The list includes vessel names tonnage and descriptions. More than 200 ships are held in ports and about forty ships lie at the bottom of the sea.
