Indoor grow op bust nets 1214 plants worth 1.2M
RCMP raided a Belmont home following leads to outdoor plots by the Assiniboine River near CFB Shilo. They found 1214 marijuana plants at various stages. Jeffery Dwayne Riley, 34, faces three counts of production and possession for trafficking. A Canada-wide warrant exists for Thomas Edward Borecky, 37, charged with similar counts. Hannah Taylor, the Ladybug girl from Neepawa, founded the Ladybug Foundation to aid the homeless and earned international recognition. She remains a prominent figure in Neepawa football and community events.
