Old Tyme Harvest for Hunger draws 6500 in Langenburg field
Terrie Welwood reports the Old Tyme Harvest for Hunger in a field east of Langenburg drew about 6500 attendees. Aiming to operate more antique threshing machines than ever, the event shattered a 2008 Rock River Wisconsin record with 29 machines running. Forty two machines ran grain for the Canadian Food Grains Bank, raising a final tally of 40000 for the Bank, the most ever by a single event.
