Community-based courses give Major Pratt students work experience

For five years Major Pratt School has offered Senior 3 and 4 students community based courses. By mid-September twenty two students were placed in Russell St Lazare Shellmouth Silverton and nearby areas working afternoons as regular employees. Partnerships include Lots a Tots Sunridge South Side Service Greenfields Equip Russell District Hospital and more.

Bread Baking Winners Named at Beef and Barley Festival

Pat Orsak congratulates Donnie Dunn as winner of the bread making class in the Bread Baking competition at the Beef and Barley Festival. Corrie Wishart was runner up. Shirley Fingas won homemade white bread with Jackie Jones second. Gloria Armstrong won the whole wheat class.
