Beef and Bailey King and Queen crowned in Russell events
Matthew Klemack and Heidi Marshall won this year’s Beef and Bailey King and Queen, raising 5340.00 dollars. Runners up Sara Yagelnnski and Michael Halwas collected 3788.50 dollars for Russell Rural, while Mick Twardoski and Kelsey Korrel placed third for Russell Congenial. A murder mystery night at the Russell Inn drew a large crowd, as did Crosstown Motors’ Pontiac Crossfire at the trade show. Jake Boryskiewich joined Cheryl Ruston and Jessica Moskaluke opening for Aaron Lines, with over 1000 attendees at Russell Arena, a crowd unseen in more than a decade.
