Tires Slashed in Birtle Strikes 22 Vehicles
Shoal Lake RCMP report a random act of vandalism in Birtle during the night Sunday October 12. Twenty two vehicles suffered 37 slashed tires, affecting a car dealer trucking company Department of Highways a farmer and other private individuals. A man in a white car flashed a light to pull over a seven year old student in Strathclair on September 29. He took the girl’s license and registration and warned of a mailed ticket. Police describe a 30 year old, six foot tall man with blonde hair and a moustache as a possible impersonator. Authorities expect an arrest by month’s end.
