Russell council reviews town water leaks and future needs
At a October 14 1962 meeting mayor and one councillor were absent. A survey by Search and Supplies found leaks at Augusta Street Main Street and other spots but concluded the water system overall is in good shape. The council discussed leaks and potential fixes, approved building additions for several residents, discussed buying land, and accepted highway drainage and railway crossing approvals.
