Official opening of Brown & Murray quarters in Russell
Brown and Murray Limited will open its new Russell premises on Main Street opposite Beaver Lumber Co for public inspection this weekend with Friday evening ceremonies led by Smellie and Mayor Burgess. Ernie Dolloway and Lawrence Alberts will be in Russell with manufacturers and distributors. Joe Gallant building previously housed the operation since February 1958. Dr Ted Moulson has managed the Russell branch since inception, assisted by Del Stainer, both residents of Binsearth.
