Club Cafe changes hands after 35 years of friendship
George and Jennifer Sung sold the Club Cafe in Russell to Pham and Hung after 35 years in business. The Sung family hosted an appreciation event for staff and customers, confirming retirement plans and ongoing ties to Russell as home for the couple and their three children. Jennifer recalls migrating to Canada in 1983 and meeting support from locals shaping a four decade family business. The Sungs plan visits to Vancouver and Hong Kong while remaining based in Russell.
