Waves of Hope breast cancer dragon boat team formed in Manitoba
Waves of Hope Inc in Brandon Manitoba formed in 1999 as Canada’s second breast cancer dragon boat team. The group has 40 plus members from western Manitoba, meeting for training and support to celebrate life, pursue health, and promote early detection. They sail the 22 passenger boat Kindred Spirit on Lake Minnedosa in summer with festivals and outreach activities.
