Child Fair at Major Pratt School in Russell
The Building Pathways for Lifelong Learning Committee hosts a Child Fair on November 2 2000 at Major Pratt School Russell from 12 noon to 7 pm. Targeting parents of children birth to five, the event features RCMP Child Find, car seat safety, a Teddy Bear Hospital, music for young children, safety and parenting info, and new Parent-Child resource centres. Free screenings for vision hearing development and speech language, a supervised play area, inflatable castle, door prizes, and refreshments are included.

Edmonton couple Arnie and Bonnie Young spent the Thanksgiving weekend with the Keays. Clare Moster from Selkirk stayed the weekend of Sept 30 with Jean Inglis. Lawrence and Ragna Bezo enjoyed Thanksgiving near Winnipeg and visited Stonewall, inviting others to call if they hosted company.

Volleyball clinic by Mr. McCaig with 20 students. Pancake Breakfast feeds about 130.
