Rural Youth Conference to Energize Manitoba Communities
Manitoba Rural Youth Organization outlines its 14 year goal to train members aged 18 to 30 as active rural leaders. The 1995 conference at Russell Inn runs Oct 27 to 29 with tours of Pizzey's Milling and Canamera Foods, a Mayo slide show on Agriculture Then and Now, a panel featuring Lynn Spurway and Rod Nasewich, and a formal banquet with Hon Len Derkach as guest speaker. Delegates will engage in plenary sessions and group discussions to map MYRO’s upcoming year and community viability efforts. Contact David Hay at 1-204-269-7227 to attend.
