Sam Widdicombe died peacefully September 29 2001 in St Boniface Hospital at 92 born May 1 1909 at Foxwarren to William John and Matilda Jane Honey Widdicombe as the second of eleven children He trained Hackney horses and Shorthorn cattle raced bred and showed horses and helped build roads and dykes in Manitoba and Saskatchewan He and Annie Peterson raised two sons in Foxwarren with later retirement to Langley BC The funeral was October 4 2001 at Westminster United Church Foxwarren with a Foxwarren Community choir and pallbearers listed Donations may go to The Parkinsons Foundation of Canada.
