Dauphin office to close end of year amid restructuring
Manitoba Pool Elevators will shut its Dauphin office and two clerical roles will be eliminated by December 31 while five district managers keep their jobs. The Jeadingley and Brandon area offices also close as part of a plan projected to save about 750000. Rotary aims to fund a 120 foot swinging bridge in Minnedosa with 15000 from club funds and more fundraising planned to meet an estimated 40000 cost plus 5000 in engineering. A Rocanville resident, Lara Sutherland, 76, died in a semi-trailer collision at the Highways 8 and 16 intersection near Langenburg, with details per RCMP.
