It notes no charges for children under seven, informal juvenile court proceedings, potential transfer to adult court for serious offenses after age fourteen, and options from no action to rehabilitation centers.
Michael Wonitowy died suddenly on October 27 1981 at Yorkton Union Hospital aged 72. Born September 14 1909 in Wroxton District Saskatchewan to Metro and Mary Wonitowy Ukrainian pioneers. Married Susan Balabuck July 12 1942 and farmed in Tonkin Russell Manitoba later returning to Tonkin. Survived by wife Susan two sons Elwyn Oakland CA Sidney Yorkton and grandchildren Michael David Oakland and Morgan Lee Yorkton. Also five siblings and numerous relatives. Prayer services were held at Bailey's Funeral Home and Holy Transfiguration Ukrainian Orthodox Church with interment in Yorkton Memorial Gardens.

Visitors include Joyce and Danny Rist of Yorkton and Sandra Bulbuck of Melita. Local thanks to Curt Ross for Pelly Trail Board work and to Larry Liske as trustee. Various family visits, school events, and tribute notes. A November 21 performance by Les Danseirs de la Riviere Rouge is announced. Curling results and UNICEF fund totals are reported, with Christmas party plans and December meeting notes.
