Manitoba Telephone System seeks rate changes before Public Utilities Board
The Manitoba Telephone System filed an application with the Public Utilities Board for variations in long distance rates within Manitoba. A hearing is set for June 24 1963 at 10 00 a m in Winnipeg. Interested parties may write by June 12 to the Secretary. The plan lowers many station to station and some night and holiday rates, raises most person to person initial three minute charges, and notes regional effects across cities including Winnipeg Churchill and others. Copies of the application are available in multiple offices across Manitoba for review.
