Manitoba Youth Job Centre opens summer in Russell
The Russell Manitoba Youth Job Centre is back for a 29th year, sponsored by Manitoba Education and Youth with the Russell and District Chamber of Commerce. Amber Pushka will manage the office for summer 2004, offering free referral services to employers and youth ages 12 and up. The centre serves Russell and nearby communities and plans events such as Hire a Student week and casual work opportunities, with activities including strawberry picking, a barbecue, window washing, and ice cream sales during July. Contact Amber at (204) 773-3319 or visit the IGA mall office 8:30 to 4:30.
