Prize lists for the 1939 Russell Agricultural Society fair are now distributed by the secretary with several changes and added special prizes in the horse section. Russell Junior Seed Grain Growers Notes Election at May Meeting

The Russell Junior Seed Grain Growers met Saturday May 13 with most members present. Wm Forsyth resigned as president and Bon ten Brink was elected to lead, with R Stems as vice president. The club plans to collect noxious weed seeds and various grain and forage crop seeds during the summer. Next regular meeting is January 5 for seed judging.

Local Dance Benefits Millwood Teams At Harrowby Meet

A Friday dance sponsored by the softball league drew a large crowd from surrounding districts to Harrowby. Proceeds go toward buying a winning league team.
