Manitoba weekly Newsbakers convention notes and awards
About thirty one of Manitoba's sixty nine weekly papers attended the MWNA 39th annual convention in Winnipeg May 9 and 10. The meeting featured buoyant conditions, few controversial topics, social events hosted by multiple sponsors, and awards including the Dominion Textiles Cup and Grain Milling Shield for Steinbach Carillon News. New officers and a board of directors were installed for the coming year.
