Village council approves firehall funds and tax by law

The Council of the Village of sinscarth met with Mayor Brown and all councillors. They received quotes for the firehall addition and expect lower costs than planned while the water treatment plant will cost more. Construction starts May 19 for the plant. A public meeting will be held later on landfill rules. Two building permits were approved before adjournment.
