Sealing Mother's Day Visits and Local Services
Silverton residents spent Mother's Day visiting relatives in Winnipeg Portage and Strathclair. Rev G F Denyes was away so Alwyn Coulter led the Silverton church service May 6 with Mr Andrew Bellows of Arnusville delivering the address. Rain delayed seeding and worsened sideroads while a work crew altered the Pool elevator and installed grain handling gear.
