Lidcliff Meeting and Community Updates Highlight May
A Lidcliff meeting at Nancy McDonald’s drew seven members and one guest. Highlights include plant and seed exchanges, funeral lunch duties, a profitable March card party, and Carly Berke winning the Lideliff Award at a March music festival. Future plans include a July or August novelty calendar fundraiser spearheaded by Liz, site improvements for Sideliff Hall Memorial Cairn, and a May 29 meeting at Maisie Rannie’s home. The BINSCARTH section notes Mizpah Benediction closure, a $60 read-a-thon effort by Nathan Nernberg, Sharon Nemberg’s ongoing recovery, and successful village performances with proceeds supporting the hall and park. Carious regional travels and weddings are also mentioned.
