Manitoba Tourism Awards honor regional travel leaders
The 2002 Manitoba Tourism Awards announced at the Rural Forum Celebration Banquet on April 25 2003 recognized local businesses and organizations for excellence in service and marketing. Russell Inn earned Service Excellence while Asessippi Ski Area and Winter Park shared top Marketing honors with Neepawa Area Lily Festival and First Nation Winter Celebration. Other winners included Riding Mountain Guest Ranch Rob Penner Ambassador Service Award George Einarson Ambassador Volunteer Award Verendrye Trail Tourism Community Partnership Award and Randonnee Adventure.
