Local grade six badminton players shine in Rossburn tournament
Over several weeks grade six students including Darian Pont Jaylyn Fraser Adria Nernberg Derek Falloon John Wishart Taylor Davidson-Tomsha Sarah Kroeker Ross Welwood Dion Nemez Byron Davidson and Ryan Chartier trained after eight with Gord Baskerville. The Major Pratt team joined teams from Inglis Rossburn Waywayseecappo and Binscarth for a one day event in Rossburn where Pont Fraser and Nernberg earned top placements in singles and doubles with Fraser Davidson Tomsha and Nernberg Kroeker winning titles in girls events and Wishart Welwood Nemez Falloon Davidson earning podium spots in boys events.
