Inglis Elevators National Historic Site Nearing Completion
Allan Sawchuk reports that private corporate and foundation donations funded matching provincial and federal grants to finish Inglis Elevators restoration. Five grain elevators have been rebuilt, annex work partly complete, utilities installed, and an interpretive center opened with a gift shop. The site aims for a July completion and August grand opening with future sustainability plans and related historic projects in Manitoba Saskatchewan and Interlake regions.
