Local stores donate to Chemo expansion via bouquet sales
Becky and Bryan Flandra of Angusville General Store contributed 1340 toward the Chemo expansion project. Flower bouquets sold at Arbuckles in Binscorth and Tin House in Russell dedicated 10 dollars from each bouquet. Andrea Glasman of the ECCC committee accepted the gift.

Students relocate 2000 piece Beth Naylor Collection
On March 13, MPS Grade 11 and 12 Global Issues students and community members moved the Beth Naylor Collection from the celssary jo th to the former Vanguard Credit Union building, totaling over 2000 items. Russell Library prepares for space revitalization and construction.

Youth Health Conference Preview in Rossburn
Rossburn Park West School Division held its Regular Board Meeting on March 9. Nadine Hickey outlined her role as Divisional Counselor and Learning to Age 18 Co ordinator addressing social emotional needs to boost student engagement and attendance. Waywayseecappo CFS plans a Youth Health Conference for March 22 at Rossburn Collegiate focusing on mental health and wellness. The 2017 18 calendar was approved along with staffing plans for spring term. Hamiota Collegiate to host Girls A basketball championship March 16 to 18. Six Brandon University student teachers will serve divisional schools March 13 to May 5. The 2017 18 budget was approved and a report on Educational Assistants and care will be presented March 23 by Bonnie Kiliwnik.
