Brawls and disturbances haunt Russell town events

A Valley River resident went missing briefly on March 7 in Russell. On March 8 a semi trailer was removed from a ditch on Hwy 16. A Silver Creek resident warned police of a threatening letter about a family dog. On March 10 two intoxicated Russell men refused to leave the Russell Inn and were escorted home. By March 11 RCMP from multiple communities searched for the pair after they fled Asessippi Inn. they remain at large as police pursue leads.
