Story of My Black Hat in Beth Naylor collection
A vintage black hat gifted to Beth Naylor’s collection in 1999 is featured among about 500 hats. A letter recounts a Montreal garden party in 1952 where a guest claimed the hat resembled a royal designer’s original, with only four made. The wearer had paid twenty five dollars for the designer piece.
