Twelve year old Brenda Prentice of Dauphin is Manitoba's Easter Seal Tammy for 1981. She uses a walker short distances and a wheelchair longer, attends Smith Jackson Elementary, and competes in track and field and baseball. She loves animals, horses, swimming, and crafts. Brenda will participate in the province wide Easter Seal Campain March 22 to April 19 aiding disabled children.

Woodlin Herefords maintain the lead at the March Sti bowling night with 77308 points. The Barley Kings defeated Virden 10-7 on Wednesday with Jim Cusitar scoring a hat trick and an assist as they built a 2-0 first period lead and exploded for six goals in the third period. The team then triumphed 7-6 on Sunday, overcoming a three goal deficit.
