Russell Golf Club proposes a 3200 square foot clubhouse with year round revenue potential including a better kitchen and meeting space. The plan may unfold in up to four phases, starting with a $150000 phase one outer shell, funded by a fundraising Golf Ball on March 30 offering a Chinese auction and golf prizes.

Dr Kriel Laars created a novel decision making program on substance use in sport and health, forming a professional development module for the Coaching Association of Canada. It is adopted by the RCMP for their national drugs and sports program and includes a world first program evaluation survey for assessing substance use and abuse in sports. The program provides Sport Manitoba with current information on substance use and fitness.
