UGG moves to court over rights plan and pools
UGG filed in a Manitoba court to declare that Alberta Wheat Pool and Manitoba Pool Elevators triggered UGG's shareholder rights plan. Hearings set for March 1 and 12. Pools reportedly hold over 15 percent, with a 14.98 percent direct stake and at least 6.4 percent via a lock up. The plan could trigger a poison pill, diluting shares and thwarting a takeover.
