The Park West School Division faces higher costs from municipal sewer and water rate increases and rising insurance. Transportation spending rose by about 60 000 due to busing for vocational programs across sites while grant funding has stagnated for four years. The board plans to consult stakeholders in November to chart the four year strategy and expects few new programs this year due to limited student numbers and high costs.
