Winnipeg hospitals join in Manitoba health reform push
Two Winnipeg hospitals the St Boniface General and Misericordia General capitulated to join the Winnipeg Hospital Authority under Health Minister Darren Praznik. Misericordia becomes Misericordia Health Centre focusing on long term and urgent care. St Boniface opens a $3 million medical intensive care unit as part of broader cooperation.
