Family raises $85,000 at Dauphin Relay for Life
Verna Walko and 11 relatives joined the Cancer Society Relay for Life over June weekend. Their first participation plus candle tributes honored loved ones while raising about $1,700 for cancer care. The Dauphin event drew 500 participants and nearly $85,000, well above last year’s $57,727.
