Manitoba proposes Sunday openings for liquor outlets
Legislation introduced by Consumer and Corporate Affairs Minister Scott Smith would add about 400 on premises licensed areas to open on Sundays and set restricted Sunday hours for Liquor Marts and several vendors. The plan includes safety measures to curb underage drinking and intoxication, standardize hours, local bylaw exemptions, and new offences for false IDs and disorderly conduct.
