Park West RMNP team up for outdoor learning program
Park West School Division and Riding Mountain National Park collaborate on an in park curriculum aligned with Manitoba education. About 2000 students from 85 schools join interpreters for hands on experiences this month through summer programs, field trips, and sail related activities. The program, funded with provincial support, emphasizes water ecology, fire management, GPS use, and archaeology as students explore the park and build ownership and stewardship.
