Memorial Service for Pte Hunt in Dropmere
Pte A Hunt of the 167th Battalion who left for England in 1916 is honored in a memorial service at Grainsby School House on June 3. The service drew a large crowd. Rev A E Hooke spoke of sacrifice and hope. Sympathy goes to Mr Robert Hunt as both sons served. a collection for the Returned Soldiers fund raised $3120.
