RCMP completes commercial boat training near Lake of Prairies
Twelve RCMP officers from across the province participated in a commercial boat training course on Lake of Prairies last week. The program, led by five room instruction, covered changes to the Canada Boating Act and the Shipping Act along with practical dry land and on water drills. This marks the first of four planned courses for upgrading to the new larger RCMP vessels classified as commercial vessels.
