Rural Week Gives Manitoba Med Students Rural Practice Taste
First year medical students from the University of Manitoba spent Rural Week in Russell from May 27 to 31 gaining exposure to rural northern life and medicine. They shadowed Dr. Wikus Pieterse and Dr. James Honiball, toured local sites, and enjoyed community hospitality culminating in a farewell barbecue.
