Community Notes From Silvert on and Area
Silvert on Ners Nursery followed by a picnic supper at Asessippi Beach. St. D. Evans suffered a fall entering her home last Thursday and will stay with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Stewart, of Minnedosa for several weeks. The Dyck family visited Clear Lake and Mr. Herb Cochrane of Star City and Mr. Bev Cochrane of Regina visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Cochrane and relatives. Jim Leed Colphe and party fished Crerar Lake with good results. Rev. Stewart aided by two visitors gave an interesting Presbytery report from Port William held last week. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Keating and family visited with the Min nedosa family and with Mrs. W. A. Keating and Lyle. A large group attended a seed demonstration at Da Coulter’s farm led by Jim Lapka of Bran don. Alwyn Coulter and girls attended the Fat Stock Show at Foxwarren. Ethel won best groomed calf and Patti top showmanship. The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be observed at church this Sunday June 1. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Braie and family visited Minnedosa with D. Evans.
