Eight arches were recovered from Dauphin and reassembled for the Dauphin Arena. The structures were initially built in Russell by the Glu-Rite Rafters Company and erected in 2007.
One of eight iconic arches on Main Street Russell fell on the evening of June 8 with no pedestrians or traffic nearby. Mayor Len Derkach says engineers will assess the remaining seven arches and inspect the fallen arch to determine the cause while Legacy Builders Construction evaluates structural integrity as part of the revitalization plan.
