Russell native Casey Naherniak, a chef at The Keg Brandon, earned second place at the Keg Grill Masters Finals in Vancouver on May 15 2024. Her Manitoba inspired triple seared bison dish featured blueberry red wine sauce and molecular gastronomy elements, with a national field including finalists from Toronto Calgary Montreal Vancouver and Arizona.
