On Friday May 29 David Jo-Ann and Jeffrey Haney and Lea Selby attended Kelly Haney’s Bachelor of Nursing graduation in Brandon at the Health and Wellness Centre and Victoria Inn. A memorial service for Gracia Kretai was held Saturday May 30 with sympathy to the Chartier and Kretai families.

Lidcliff Club records show meetings at Liz Souch and Glenda Cook with six to three members present. Liz opened with the Lord’s Prayer, Helen read minutes, Donnie gave Sunshine reports, and a hospital thank you was noted. A June tour is planned for June 17 at 9 30 A.M. with a Canada Day parade float as a future project. The club marks its 100th year in 2016 with varied names through the years.

Fuyarchuk Named Head Coach For Neepawa Natives 2015-16
Jim Fuyarchuk was hired as head coach of the Neepawa Natives for the 2015-16 MJHL season. He brings international coaching experience including Miskolci Jegesmedvek U18 in Hungary and four years with Waywayseecappo Wolverines, plus stints with Brandon University Bobcats and Australia national U18 team. The Natives finished last in 2014-15 at 15-42-3, and GM Myles Cathcart welcomed the hire as a move to boost drafting and development.
