Centennial Canoe Pageant to Highlight Canada’s Inland Trails
The 1967 centennial features a canoe race across four thousand miles from Montreal to New York, tracing voyageurs routes. Twelve canoes designed as early vessels will race via the Stuart River, Fraser River, and Mohawk country, ending with Expo celebrations and wide public viewing.
