Speech Language Course Held in Shoal Lake
A four week speech language development course led by Carla Johnston of Assiniboine Centre Brandon was conducted in Shoal Lake on Tuesday evenings in May. Parents teachers and local representatives attended and discussed normal development parent as teacher play based teaching and behavior modification with the book Teach Your Child to Talk. The course offered new insight and services information and included exchange among attending parents and professionals.
