On July 21 Tim Hortons locations across Canada joined Special Olympics to mark 50 years and Day of Inclusion. Local athletes and supporters bought a specially made donut by 14-year-old Savannah Lassier of Alberta, with all proceeds funding Special Olympics Canada.
