Car tangled in power lines near Asessippi Park
On July 16 2018 at 12 20 am a RCMP officer found a car tangled in down power lines on Provincial Road 482 north of the PR549 intersection. A pickup truck in the west ditch had struck a hydro pole causing the lines to fall. The 21 year old Saskatchewan male driver of the pickup was ejected and transported to hospital with severe injuries. MB Hydro addressed the lines. Speed may have been a factor. RCMP from Roblin Rossburn Russell Treherne assisted, with a forensic collision reconstructionist aiding the investigation.
