Brandon College student Bill has earned the General Proficiency Scholarship of $100 for First Year Arts and a $50 award for top in Physics from J A Reddy Co. He also received a $50 ex service man and woman scholarship for the highest aggregate in a complete first year, issued by Rumford Laundry. He actively participated in student functions, contributing to what is described as the best academic year at Branton College.

Funeral Service Today For Robert M. Robb
Robert M. Robb of Russell died Monday morning at age 79 near his home. Funeral at Knox United church at 2 pm with interment in Russell cemetery. Born in Scotland he was a joiner who later homesteaded near Swan River before moving to Russell in 1916. Survived by widow and two sons William of Swan River and Robert of Winnipeg.
