Hudson Bay Railway turns lemon into profit in the north
OmniTRAX subsidiary Hudson Bay Railway takes over the Port of Churchill and the Gillam Churchill line, cutting derailments and boosting grain shipments. A June test run of a 95 car steel hopper train from The Pas to Churchill proved reliable, signaling expansion into ore and manufactured goods. Brooke Ruskin credits hands on maintenance and local Canadian control for the success as CN faces continued northern challenges.
