Board of Reference rules against Pelly Trail transfer
A Board of Reference decision allows transferring 22 quarters of land from Pelly Trail School Division to Intermountain, prompting a June 18 appeal by Pelly Trail. The division argues nonchild landowners should not affect school boundaries, warning of tax base disruption and widespread impact. Liberal critic Iva Yeo calls for a province wide boundary review with input from trustees and officials.
